Finishing Touches and Concealment Options

To achieve a minimalist look, it is often requested that the glass guard connecting hardware be concealed. When hidden glass guard hardware is required along floor openings, it’s important to plan a space for the hardware between the rim joist and the finishing material. A common mistake is completing the framing and sometimes even drywall before deciding to conceal the hardware.

Unlike traditional top mounts, our hardware is mounted on the side of the structure. The finish is applied after the glass installation. Various materials can be used to create a “mask” to conceal the glass hardware. Please see Mrail’s selection below for options..
